![]() Now that you’re clear of Savages, make your way right around the buildings and head up the stairs. They take a lot of bullets to bring down so use them wisely. Be careful, as there are three to four Badass Savages that will chase after you. When you reach another settlement, a lot more Savages will spawn. Professor Nakayama will address you when you do this. Take them out and continue up the stairs in the middle of the two buildings on the left. Once you reach the top, you’ll be bombarded by Savages. Stock up on your ammo and ascend the stairs behind the Vending Machines. From here, you’ll want to head back to The Sun Swamps, the area where you first came to in Scylla’s Grove. Jump down and turn right where you can hop back into your Fan Boat, if it’s still there of course. You’ll know you’re in the right place when you’re behind a waterfall and there is a Loot Chest waiting for you. Star by heading up the hill next to where Thermitage popped out of. Sir Hammerlock will agree and ask you to inspect the suspicious radio chatter out in Scylla’s Grove. There is no trick to killing Thermitage once you’ve gotten used to killing all the Scaylions you’ve just plowed through.Īs soon as Thermitage is down, Professor Nakayama will beg you to come fight him. Thermitage, the Scaylion Sir Hammerlock sent you after will spawn once you’ve killed a certain amount of smaller Scaylions. Continue blasting your way past the waves of Scaylion and you’ll find yourself at the end in a pool of water. The cave will be a linear path from this point on. Make note that the tail of a Scaylion is their weak spot and critical hit damage is guaranteed. These creatures are scorpion like beasts that crawl close and attack by jumping at you or shooting projectiles from their tails. In this cave, you’ll come to another new enemy typed called, Scalyions. ![]() Get close enough and Sir Hammerlock will begin talking. On the left side of the rock formation will be a cave. Begin moving in the direction of your waypoint behind the Catch-A-Boat station and round the small hill. Grab what you need and hop into a Fan Boat. This area has a Catch-A-Boat station, ammo, health, and guns. At this point, you’ll discover The Sun Swamps. After spawning into Scylla’s Grove, begin running to your right and head up the stairs. Once you’re done playing with the Boroks, head up the side of the hill and make your way to the travel point that takes you to the next area, Scylla’s Grove. The Boroks in this area will be more ferocious and have a higher chance of spawning a Badass Borok. Clear them out if you’d like a head to the right and over the stream of water where you will come across more Boroks. Some will be plated and more prone to Corrosion while other’s will be killable by means of any type. They will attack you in groups, much like every enemy type in Borderlands 2. When you reach this new area, the first thing you’ll notice are the new enemy types you see below. Head in either direction and you’ll come to another large area of Hunter’s Grotto. Either way leads to the same exit and have nothing of value in them. To the left and right of the campsite, there are pathways. You’ll come across a small campsite with some loot boxes to replenish your ammo. Ignore the ladder and head behind it into the opening. You’ll see the tall ladder that leads to the point where you spawn into Hunter’s Grotto. Should you decide to continue on with the campaign, head in the direction of you waypoint which leads you to the area where we first began this quest line. You’ll find it controls very similarly to the Sandskiff, made available exclusive to the Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty DLC. Once you’ve spawned your Fan Boat you may continue to explore the area or wipe out some enemies to get a feel for the way the vehicle works. ![]() Much like the Corrosive Fan Boat, the Shock shoots out a ball of electricity but at a slower rate than the Corrosive, except it can dealing a greater amount of damage. ![]() The second is a Fire type that shoots fire out like a flamethrower. One is the Corrosive, which spits out a ball of corrosion that doesn’t do a great deal of damage but can be rapidly fired. Go ahead and access the newly working Catch-A-Boat station and spawn the Fan Boat type of your choosing. Sir Hammerlock now insists that you two go hunting for a creature out in Scylla’s Grove, and by you two, he means just you.
